Denisse Alejandra Pinto Orellana passed away on 29 January 2022. She was the wife of Jaime Román, who pastors Lighthouse Church of the Nazarene in Chile.

The Nazarene youth of Paraguay participated in a nationwide camp from 28-30 January with “Prevail” as its theme. Over 100 youth from the three districts (South, Central, and North) made their way to the camp in Encarnación, Paraguay.

Three churches in Ecuador have teamed up to help build houses for three low-income families who were on the verge of homelessness or were already there.

Thanks to the Venezuela Lago District’s work to plant new Nazarene churches, 49 people were baptized in a service that brought three of the new congregations together.

José Zito de Oliveira, the first Nazarene in Brazil, passed away Sunday, 16 January 2022. He was 99 years old. Originally from Cabo Verde, he welcomed the first Nazarene missionaries in Brazil

Pederneiras Church of the Nazarene in Brazil is utilizing Jiu-Jitsu as a ministry and tool for evangelism through relationships created on the mat. There are currently 50 people enrolled in the classes, ranging from age four all the way to adults.

A social impact event called “Natal Feliz” (Merry Christmas) took place in Campinas, Brazil, last Saturday. The event was organized through the Alance 55 project, which brought legal services and health professionals to support the community.
