The “Maximum Mission Jama 2025” event held in Jama, Ecuador, at the end of 2025, became a special time of community service, evangelism, and district unity that significantly impacted the Las Palmitas citadel community.

One hundred twenty people from different churches in the North Coast District attended the event. Led by the Argüello Álava pastoral family, the group met at the Church of the Nazarene in Jama to begin the various missionary and community service activities.

The day’s activities included helping restore the community park and an intense creative evangelism effort, through which 25 people—mostly children and families from the community—heard the message of salvation.

Pastor Manuel Borja, district president of the Nazarene Youth International (NYI) and organizer of Maximum Mission, emphasized how unity among the leaders confirms that God is raising a generation passionate about a missionary call to the nations. For his part, Jefferson Estévez, district superintendent, affirmed the importance of mobilizing the Church of the Nazarene to the places where it is most needed, responding to the missionary call.

The event was supported by the Ministry of Evangelism, NYI, Nazarene Discipleship International (NDI), and the valuable presence of missionaries Diana González and the Albornoz Ribeiro family. In addition, the group from the North Coast District led a special time of worship, and missionary Esteban Albornoz shared a challenging message.

Marked by dedication, unity, and the living testimony of God’s love in action, the event left a deep impression on the community and strengthened the church’s missionary vision in the North Coast District.
