Paul’s Promise, a film produced by Damascus Road Productions, tells the story of late Nazarene pastor Paul Holderfield Sr. The USA/Canada regional office and The Foundry Publishing have partnered with the film to produce a discussion guide and Bible study based on the movie.

Hurricane Ian, one of the most powerful storms recorded in the United States, made landfall in Florida on 28 September as a Category 4 storm with sustained wind speeds up to 155 mph (250 km per hour), a day after hitting Cuba.

Evansdale Hope Church of the Nazarene might be small, but its reach into its Iowa community is mighty. At this year’s Bless Evansdale Day, the church of just over 30 people served more than 600 community members with a school supply giveaway, haircuts, and food.
