Three new district superintendents have been installed recently on the Africa Region, two in South Africa and one in Mozambique.

The Africa South Field is proud to announce the election of Thabo Philemon Mabotja as the newly elected district superintendent of the South Africa KwaZulu Natal (KZN) District. Mabotja is an ordained elder in the Church of the Nazarene and serves as the senior pastor of the Okkerneutboom Church of the Nazarene in the RSA Eastern District.
The Africa Region recently announced two new district superintendents: Leholohonolo Michael Oliphant for the Lesotho District and Vincent Peter Maholbela for the Eastern South Africa District.
Kenneth Crow, 80, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away 24 March 2022. He served as a missionary, educator, and senior program manager of Research at the Global Ministry Center.
Joseph Penn, 104, of Hesperia, California, passed away 5 January 2022. He was a retired minister and missionary who served in Eswatini, Mozambique, and South Africa for 40 years.
The Africa Region announced the appointment of Solomon Ndlovu as field strategy coordinator for the Africa South Field, effective 1 July 2021.
Elizabeth “Beth” Merki, 88, of Millville, New Jersey, passed away 29 June 2021. She served as a missionary for 32 years in South Africa, Swaziland (now Eswatini), and Papua New Guinea, alongside her late husband, Robert Merki.
David Moyer Sr., 78, of Mesa, Arizona, passed away 1 January 2020. He was a retired missionary who served in South Africa and Kenya. David
