From 30 September to 7 October 2024, the Nazarene Missions International of the Java-Bali District carried out an act of love by collecting new toothbrushes that would be donated to the Kudjip Nazarene Hospital in Papua New Guinea.

Nazarene Women in Leadership for Papua District held its inaugural fellowship 17 March 2024 attended by 73 women from seven churches.

The Jiwaka North District hosted a four-day laity retreat in the Jiwaka Province for all three districts. The retreat focused on inspiring and empowering the laypeople to take ownership in spreading the gospel in Papua New Guinea.

Mona White, 92, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away on 25 July 2023. She was a missionary who served in Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands from 1959-1995.

George Miller, 72, of Carnegie, Oklahoma, passed away 28 May 2023. He was a retired missionary who served for 27 years in Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands, and the Philippines. Miller was the pastor of Carnegie Church of the Nazarene at the time of his death.

Elizabeth Essolene Price Schendel, 89, of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, passed away 23 January 2023. She was a missionary who served in Papua New Guinea for 15 years alongside her husband, Daryl Schendel.

Nazarene General Hospital in Kudjip, Papua New Guinea, is battling its second wave of COVID-19 cases. In just a month, 140 patients have been diagnosed, and the Respiratory Isolation Ward has had as many as 22 patients in it.

Nazarene nurses in Papua New Guinea have helped carry the gospel to rural areas through the JESUS film, helping end the conflict between two warring tribes in the process.
