The Instituto Biblico Nazareno (Nazarene Bible Institute), the first institution of theological education for the Church of the Nazarene on the Mesoamerica Region, was designated as a historic landmark at the 30th General Assembly and Conventions.

The Verapaz North District of Guatemala welcomed 10 new churches in 2022. The churches were presented at the district assembly 17 March as part of the work carried out by the church in the last year.

More than 1,500 people from 116 churches on the Nazarene Verapaz del Norte District in Guatemala were baptized on 4 September. One week later, they were received as full members in their different congregations.

To celebrate the month of the Bible in Guatemala, the Nazland Church of the Nazarene in Guatemala City held its first Bible quizzing competition for adults. About 25 people participated, with ages ranging from 35 to 65 years.

Camino de Santidad Iglesia del Nazareno celebrated the baptism of 27 people, which the pastors believe is the result of the evangelistic work that the church carried out during the pandemic.

Members of the Church of the Nazarene in Senahú, Alta Verapaz, Guatemala, rebuilt the NDI classrooms in just 18 days. Nearly 200 people gather in these classrooms to learn more about God in their native languages, Q’eqchi and Spanish.

More than 40 young people participated in the first Festival de Canto organized by the Verapaz del Norte District in Guatemala. Adolescents and young adults with a passion for service through singing were invited to the event.

A new church was officially organized under the name La Gracia Iglesia del Nazareno. La Gracia becomes the 110th congregation on the Verapaz del Norte District.

Women in the pioneer area of Pacajá, Guatemala, are learning valuable life skills, becoming financially secure, fostering friendships, and making donuts through a Nazarene-run ministry called Entre Amigas.
