
Alabaster Offering leads to dedication of Myanmar church
On 28 October 2023, Zion Church of the Nazarene in Hwambi dedicated its newly built church building thanks to Alabaster funds. This local church was organized in July 2020.

Over 150 women from the Luzon District gathered for the “Women of Worth: Called Beyond Ordinary.” During this special event, the women showcased their different yet vibrant cultures through their traditional dances and local indigenous clothing.

Kadao, a local church in the central part of a Creative Access Area in Southeast Asia, is shining its light in the community despite language barriers, and a lack of resources.

Over 223 pastors and church planters from four districts and three pioneer areas attended the gathering. More than half attended this conference for the first time, a testament to the country’s growing missional church planting and disciple-making movement.

The Jiwaka North District hosted a four-day laity retreat in the Jiwaka Province for all three districts. The retreat focused on inspiring and empowering the laypeople to take ownership in spreading the gospel in Papua New Guinea.

Australia and New Zealand Churches of the Nazarene partnered to host a team of eight students and two faculty/staff members from the LoveWorks program at Point Loma Nazarene University (PLNU) for three weeks in May 2023.

Mona White, 92, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away on 25 July 2023. She was a missionary who served in Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands from 1959-1995.
