Eleanor Drinkwater, 96, of Leesburg, Florida, passed away 30 June 2021. She was a missionary for 21 years, serving in Swaziland (Eswatini) and Malawi alongside her husband, J. Edward Drinkwater.

The city of Goma in the Democratic Republic of the Congo was rocked by a large eruption of the Nyiragongo Volcano on the night of 22 May 2021. Around 400,000 people have evacuated and about 20,000 are homeless.

The Africa Region has launched a newly designed website and monthly newsletter, Ekhaya. The newsletter, available in English, French, and Portuguese, is intended to share stories of what God is doing in, through, and for the Church of the Nazarene in Africa.
