The city of Pilar, Argentina, hosted a significant training event for the South American regional team of the Church of the Nazarene, from 22-26 April 2026. The event was marked by reunion, fellowship, learning, and a renewed commitment to ministry.
Forty-three leaders from various South American countries gathered together to share experiences, strengthen bonds, and continue aligning ministry vision. These were days of great blessing, filled with dialogue about the realities facing the region, sharing challenges, progress, and opportunities, and reaffirming their commitment to serve with unity and purpose.
During the training, participants engaged in opportunities for formation, reflection, and fellowship, which promoted a sense of teamwork and collaboration among the different ministries and areas of service. Every moment was an opportunity to collaborate and learn, listen, and plan the work of the church in South America.
The activity featured the special participation of Steve Clarkson, who served as facilitator and consultant throughout the event. His presentations guided the leaders to reflect, dialogue, and learn using important tools for strengthening regional leadership.
Alessandro Polonio, regional director for South America, accompanied the participants and shared this special time of training and fellowship with the team. His presence reaffirmed the importance of continuing to work together in the mission of the church in the region.
The training concluded with a profound sense of gratitude to God for the days shared, for the lessons learned, and for the opportunity to strengthen the unity of the regional team. The gathering reaffirmed that when leaders come together to listen, learn, and serve as a team, the mission of the church is strengthened and hope is renewed across the region.
