A church plant in Philadelphia’s suburb of Pottstown has continued to grow despite the COVID-19 pandemic. Pastor Paul Thornhill’s key is connection, something that he traces back to his childhood.

After much prayer and careful consideration, the USA/Canada Nazarene Youth International Regional Council announced it will move forward with Nazarene Youth Conference 2023 from July 5 through 9 in Tampa Bay, Florida. The decision was approved by the Board of General Superintendents in consultation with the general secretary.

Jose Rodriguez, 92, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away 24 September 2020. He was a minister and educator, and a leading hispanic theologian.

Dirk Scott, an associate pastor at True North Church of the Nazarene, felt a tug in 2015 to start feeding and discipling the homeless in his community of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. His obedient response to the Lord’s calling has now led to a full-fledged compassionate ministry that is making an impact in northern Idaho

Haven of Hope, a center created by Bethany, Oklahoma, First Church of the Nazarene, will help shelter and rehabilitate women who are victims of sexual abuse and sex trafficking in Eswatini.

Emily Ray, 83, of Arcadia, California, passed away 22 September 2020. She was a retired missionary who served for 34 years in Guatemala and Argentina.

Larry Webb spent over 30 years as a missionary to Bolivia, Barbados, and Ecuador. He has also spent the last 20 years of his retirement continuing to bring missions teams to those areas and impacting hundreds of people through his Mavericks Work & Witness teams.

Gordon Gaines, husband of Oakdale Family Church of the Nazarene Children’s Pastor Marilyn Gaines, was killed 27 September when a pickup truck lost control and struck him in the church parking lot.
