An outbreak of tornadoes plowed through five states on 10 December, killing dozens and leaving thousands without water, heat, or electricity. The First Church of the Nazarene in Mayfield, Kentucky, served as a storm shelter the night of the tornadoes and has since become a Red Cross shelter for residents impacted by the storm.

Brett Rickey has been appointed superintendent of the Oregon Pacific District. Rickey has been the lead pastor of Highland Park Church of the Nazarene in Lakeland, Florida, since 2009.
Russell Human, 86, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away 16 October 2021. He was a retired minister, missionary, and district superintendent, who served the Church of the Nazarene for nearly 50 years.
An Indiana church’s quilting ministry has made roughly 300 quilts for their community members since the group started in 2016, “wrapping” their community in Christ’s love and the congregation’s prayers.
