A church plant is growing in a small New Mexico community thanks in part to its discipleship efforts and community-centric focus. Lead Pastor Tammie Summers believes that the church should be about the community ministering to the community and that they are all called to be a witness like Paul.

A spirit of unity and service characterized the first installment of the missionary “Missionary Summer,” when 12 Work & Witness volunteers from North Arkansas in the United States combined with four young leaders from the host country to bless the city of Bonao.

At the heart of Fort Recovery Church of the Nazarene, a missions-minded church in Northern Ohio is two women who call themselves the “Bag Ladies.” They can make a bag from scratch in eight minutes flat and joke that it takes longer to cut the fabric than it does to make the bag.

Three new District Superintendents were elected on the USA/Canada Region this past week. Paul MacPherson was elected to the Maine District, Arnie WIlson to the Alabama North District, and Brian Wangler to the Indianapolis District.

After devastating floods left Camp Garner Creek in Tennessee on the verge of closure, a former camper stepped up with a $1 million dollar grant to help keep the camp alive.

Paul Merritt Bassett, 86, of Overland Park, Kansas, passed away 7 May 2022. He was a retired minister and professor at Nazarene Theological Seminary for over 35 years.

Oxford Church of the Nazarene in Nova Scotia, Canada, has a physical building and an in-person congregation of about 100 people. The church’s most unique feature, however, is its thriving online congregation.
