A church in Michigan is resourcing its community through educational and faith-based seminars on mental health-related topics. Over 100 people attended Flushing Community Church of the Nazarene’s Hope Over Anxiety seminar on 22 October.
Jerry Kester, 69, of Olympia, Washington, passed away on 13 October 2023. He led the Washington Pacific District as superintendent since 2011.

The Family Welcome Center provides temporary shelter for dozens of families from harrowing circumstances as well as opportunities for ENC students to put the missional education they are receiving into practice.
Roger Hahn, 73, of Spring Hill, Kansas, passed away on 6 October 2023. He was the pastor of Overland Park Church of the Nazarene. He also served as an educator at Southern Nazarene University and Nazarene Theological Seminary.

Ernest Treviño has been appointed superintendent of the Texas-Oklahoma Latin District. He helped open Living Water Church of the Nazarene in Progreso, Texas, in 2014 and has served as the pastor there since 2017.
When a nearby junior high school building was damaged by a fire, West Chester Church of the Nazarene stepped up to host the 480 students for in-person learning until they can return to their building.
Eunice Brubaker, 68, of Topeka, Kansas, passed away on 5 September 2023 after a long battle with cancer.
Palmer First Church of the Nazarene in Alaska recently opened a 9,000-square-foot fully accessible and inclusive park for disabled and special needs individuals and their families. The park is another level of connection between Palmer First and its community.
