The Church of the Nazarene in Taisha, Morona Santiago, Ecuador, is impacting its community by offering art lessons to children in the Shuar and Achuar communities. As a result, Lili*, a six-year-old student, won a regional award in a painting competition.

The Sierra Centro District Church of the Nazarene recognized the final Sunday in October as
“Pastor’s Sunday” for Clergy Appreciation Month. A district-wide celebration was held at the District Center in Riobamba on 29 October, while the local churches celebrated their pastors on Sunday, 30 October.

Linda Spalding, 88, of Bastrop, Texas, passed away 17 October 2022. She was a retired missionary who served in Bolivia, Mexico, and Panama for 21 years alongside her husband, Tom Spalding.

A new church, Casa Nazarena, was organized in the city of Trinidad, Bolivia. The church, led by Pastors Gary and Jessica Olguín, had its sanctuary dedicated in memory of missionaries Larry and Judy Webb.

Nearly 600 people gathered to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Church of the Nazarene in Ecuador. The celebration included a ministry fair where all ministry coordinators and their teams displayed their work and invited attendees to get involved by using their gifts and talents to serve in the local church.

More than 160 children across Venezuela participated in an evangelistic event called Children’s Cry, which took place in multiple communities across the country. The children performed songs, skits, and shared a message with those in their communities

Thanks to the generosity of Nazarenes around the world, the Church of the Nazarene is able to continue spreading the transformational love of Christ in every corner of the world. Resources are now available for the upcoming Offering of Thanks for Nazarene Missions.

A Venezuela church took a team of congregational leaders to Las Virtudes, the most difficult-to-reach church on the Llanos District, in order to help disciple and train leaders in that community. The team hosted four nights of services where the gospel of the Kingdom was preached to all the people who attended.

During the recent gathering of the national church planting team and the Colombia national leaders, the birth of 50 new church-type missions (CTMs) were reported.
