Super Typhoon Rai (known locally as Odette) made landfall in the Philippines on 16 December 2021. Volunteers with Nazarene Disaster Response on the ground have distributed food packs, clothes, hygiene kits, and flashlights and have established water filtration centers in strategic areas.

During the Philippines celebration of National Heroes Day, a local Work & Witness team served the people of Batangas City Church of the Nazarene. The team repaired and renovated the church and parsonage and assisted during a feeding program that provided meals for 130 children.

Christine Dialing, a Nazarene missionary serving in Thailand, recently used a squid ink painting to help fund her ministry. Dialing is a sponsored missionary serving as a teacher at the School of Promise in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
