Mark Lancaster has been appointed superintendent of the South Arkansas District. Lancaster has served as the pastor of Memphis, Tennessee, Grace Church of the Nazarene since 1993.

Dorothy Diehl, 85, of Lakewood, Colorado, passed away 30 August 2021, after battling dementia. She is the wife of General Superintendent Emeritus Jim Diehl.

The East Tennessee District elected Ron DeWitt on 14 July 2021 as its new superintendent. DeWitt currently pastors Shelbyville Church of the Nazarene in Tennessee.

The Iowa District elected Michael Kraemer on 9 July 2021 as its new superintendent. Kraemer currently serves as lead pastor of Prairie Heights Community Church of the Nazarene in Bismarck, North Dakota.

A Celebration of Grace, the denomination’s second virtual service, brought together more than 65,000 Nazarenes from 111 countries 26-27 June 2021. The service featured four songs in nine languages with more than 100 Nazarene singers and musicians.

The Global Nazarene Education Consortium met for its quadrennial conference 23-24 June 2021 to discuss borderless education and life-span education. Sixty-two participants from the denomination’s 51 higher education institutions attended the two-day online conference.

A Celebration of Grace, the denomination’s second virtual worship service, will premiere worldwide Sunday 27 June. The hourlong service will be simultaneously broadcast every hour for 24 hours in five different languages: English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, and Korean.
