Two cyclones devastated the island of Vanuatu in April. The disaster response team led by Nazarene Compassionate Ministries Asia-Pacific among others is distributing relief items to the various local churches and communities in Vanuatu.
Nazarene pastors and their families from the New Zealand District gathered together for their annual retreat 20-22 April 2023. District Superintendent Paul Talluri summarized the weekend as “a time of rejuvenation, reflection, and recommitment to our faith.”

Residents of the Yeshin Gone village have struggled with a clean water supply for many years. Through the partnership of Southeast Asia Field Nazarene Compassionate Ministries and Bethlehem Church of the Nazarene, a new well was successfully drilled and now serves the community of about 100 people.
Nearly 75 Nazarene teens and leaders came together to attend the New Zealand District youth summer camp held 9-12 January 2023. It was the first district youth camp since 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
God has been working in the lives of those in the Middle Ramu District in Papua New Guinea. Before 2022 ended, the district organized a five-day youth crusade at Gebau Valley, Kovon Local Level Government.
