James Frederick Huff, 74, of McDonough, Georgia, passed away on 10 October 2024. He served the Church of the Nazarene in various roles for over 40 years, including as the director of the Africa Region, a missionary in New Zealand and South Africa, and superintendent of the Georgia and New Mexico districts.
The Southeast Asia Field dedicated the church building of Yangon Christian Fellowship in September. The Bromley District in Papua New Guinea marked a significant moment of progress and community development with the grand opening of its district center on 24 August 2024. The celebration included the inauguration of the district superintendent’s house, a duplex staff house for Tsingoropa Nazarene Primary School, and three health center buildings featuring an inpatient wing, an outpatient wing, and a staff house.
Shechem Children’s Home, an assessment center aiding the survivors of online sexual abuse and exploitation of children, is currently undergoing significant renovation aimed at expanding its capacity and improving its facilities.
