Duane David Baty, 69, of Olathe, Kansas, passed away from glioblastoma on 16 October 2024, at home surrounded by his family. He was a retired missionary and minister who served in the Philippines and Cambodia for 25 years.

The Australia Southern District youth gathered for three nights at Oasis Christian Camp in Melbourne. Young people from the Australia North & West District also made the long trip down from Brisbane.

James Frederick Huff, 74, of McDonough, Georgia, passed away on 10 October 2024. He served the Church of the Nazarene in various roles for over 40 years, including as the director of the Africa Region, a missionary in New Zealand and South Africa, and superintendent of the Georgia and New Mexico districts.

The Southeast Asia Field dedicated the church building of Yangon Christian Fellowship in September. This building became possible through funding from Alabaster Offering and generous gifts from Sangamdong Church of the Nazarene, pastored by Min-Gyoo Shin, and Onnuri Church of the Nazarene, pastored by Myung Mulk Jeong.

On 8 September 2024, the Church of the Nazarene celebrated a significant milestone in Indonesia by organizing the Ekklesia Church of the Nazarene in Pekanbaru, North Sumatra. It is the first Church of the Nazarene in Pekanbaru.

The Mongolia District gathered for its 6th annual Holiness Gathering outside Ulaan Bataar, Mongolia. The four-day spiritual retreat that gathered Nazarenes from across the district for worship, biblical teaching, and fellowship.

The Bromley District in Papua New Guinea marked a significant moment of progress and community development with the grand opening of its district center on 24 August 2024. The celebration included the inauguration of the district superintendent’s house, a duplex staff house for Tsingoropa Nazarene Primary School, and three health center buildings featuring an inpatient wing, an outpatient wing, and a staff house.

Shechem Children’s Home, an assessment center aiding the survivors of online sexual abuse and exploitation of children, is currently undergoing significant renovation aimed at expanding its capacity and improving its facilities.

Each year, the nation of Vanuatu celebrates National Children’s Day on 24 July. The annual event allows families to spend extra time together to promote the welfare and well-being of children and to support the fight against child abuse.

Five church-type missions were opened because of the collaborative effort of a Nazarene Disaster Response Team and local churches in the Philippines, after a flood disaster struck parts of the Davao and Agusan regions.
