Solomon Ndlovu, strategy coordinator for the Africa South Field, announced Rickson Nkhata was elected superintendent of the Eswatini Central District on the second ballot. Nkhata currently pastors the Living Waters Church of the Nazarene in Manzini, Eswatini.

Over 240 participants and volunteers gathered at Third Wave 2025 in Orlando and Lake Placid, Florida from 7-13 January 2025, for a time of worship, training, and equipping for leadership. A total of 51 different countries and 23 different languages were represented among those present.

On Monday, 13 January 2025, 80 new believers were baptized in the Nile River in South Sudan, the same Nile River where the baby Moses was drawn up out of the water and saved for a greater purpose. These new believers are from the New Life Church of the Nazarene in Juba South, South Sudan.

More than 200 young leaders from all six regions of the Church of the Nazarene will gather for Third Wave 2025 in Orlando and Lake Placid, Florida, from January 7-12 for training, discipleship, fellowship, and worship to help them begin to think globally.

In the Lake Bangweulu region of Zambia, four large islands are home to about 150,000 people. Thanks to a boat, Zambian Nazarenes continue to share the Gospel with those who live on the island, planting churches and continuing the mission of the Church of the Nazarene.

James Frederick Huff, 74, of McDonough, Georgia, passed away on 10 October 2024. He served the Church of the Nazarene in various roles for over 40 years, including as the director of the Africa Region, a missionary in New Zealand and South Africa, and superintendent of the Georgia and New Mexico districts.

The following two stories are stories of transformation for two individuals thanks to showings of the JESUS film in Zambia and Sierra Leone.

The 2024 Nigeria Revival brought together Nazarenes from all parts of Nigeria, West Africa, and beyond. The event theme was “Holiness and Compassion: Transforming the Communities.”

Peggy Trumble, 90, of Cleethorpes, England, United Kingdom, passed away on 28 August 2024. She was a retired missionary who served in Eswatini for 20 years.
