Danny Sison elected superintendent of Panay District

The Panay District elected Danny Sison as its new superintendent during the assembly on 25 January 2025. Sison serves as the pastor of Pavia Church of the Nazarene.
Sison was installed on 9 February 2025. He replaces Medanny Punnsalan, who served as superintendent since 2014.
Sison’s path of faith gradually opened his heart to God’s call, influencing his commitment to ministry and love for the church.
Sison was in disbelief but excited when the election result was announced. He shared that his ministry will focus on building the local churches and equipping pastors to recognize their potential and impact their communities significantly. He also plans to be an advocate not only for the spiritual well-being of the pastors but also for their economic welfare.
Sison has also aimed to plant at least two new churches annually to expand the Church of the Nazarene’s footprint across the district. His vision is to utilize strategic planning, outreach programs, and discipleship efforts to ensure that all municipalities in Panay are reached with the life-changing message of the Gospel.
