We Value Education

Christian education is that ministry of the Church by which it seeks to communicate its faith and nurture Christlike disciples. In the Church of the Nazarene, the ministry of Christian education is expressed through local church education and Nazarene higher education, including clergy education.

We Are Transforming Lives

From the very beginning of the Church of the Nazarene education has been one of our core commitments, and our International Board of Education (IBOE) institutions remain one of the great treasures God has given us for the advancement of His mission in our world. The Church of the Nazarene enjoys the blessing of a dynamic network of 50 colleges, universities, and seminaries providing education through over 1,000 learning centers in more than 110+ world areas globally. Through this global network, more than 43,000 students choose to be educated annually in preparation to serve as pastors, teachers, scientists, artists, medical professionals, and in a wide array of other careers. Most importantly, students are being formed and trained as followers of Jesus and leaders who live and serve from a Christian worldview. IBOE schools serve as vibrant partners in the mission of the Church of the Nazarene “to make Christlike disciples in the nations.”
