The Southwest Ohio District elected Daryl Blank as superintendent on 13 July 2026. Blank currently serves as the pastor of Cincinnati Springdale Church of the Nazarene.
Blank’s new assignment is effective 11 August 2026. He will replace Robert “Bob” Mahaffey, who has served as superintendent of the Southwest Ohio District since 2016.
Blank became an ordained minister in 1996 and earned a bachelor’s degree in ministry in 2021 from Nazarene Bible College.
He has served on staff as a minister at Pontiac First Church of the Nazarene in Michigan (1990-1991) and Williams Lake Church of the Nazarene (1991-1992). He pastored Bad Axe Church of the Nazarene (1992-1996) and Flint East Church of the Nazarene (1996-2002).
In 2002, he moved to Tennessee to pastor Goodlettsville Church of the Nazarene, where he served until November of 2012. He has served as pastor of Cincinnati Springdale Church of the Nazarene since.
Blank has been a member of the General Board of the Church of the Nazarene since 2024, serving on the Local Church Ministries committee. Daryl and his wife, Tracy, have three children, and currently reside in Monroe, Ohio.
