Couples from around the Antananarivo area of Madagascar gathered for the fourth annual couples’ seminar held 14 February 2026. The 250 attendees—a record-breaking number—learned how they can “Grow in Holiness” together.

The seminar was based on the Bible passage of Jude 20, “But you, beloved, build yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit.”

The participants enjoyed a time of praise and worship along with Pastor Richard Ravelomanantsoa’s special teachings from the Word on holiness in relationships.

The conference featured plenary sessions, games, a photo booth, and a time of dancing where the couples celebrated their love. The couples had the opportunity to publicly verbalise their love and appreciation for one other. Some of the participants and the district NDI helped sponsor the event and provided a lovely lunch.

The attendee couples approached their marriages with a new attitude and a fresh perspective. A renewed love blossomed, as one of the teachings encouraged them to place Jesus Christ at the center of their relationship.

“This [was a] glorious moment, as Jesus Christ once again demonstrated his greatness and majesty,” said Madagascar District Superintendent Patrice Ratovoarilala.

As we enter this new year, let us pray that God will strengthen all marriages as they are the foundation to stable and thriving societies.
