Java-Bali District Nazarene Youth International held its 6th Leaders Camp at the Indra Prastha Campground in Boyolali, Central Java, from 3-5 July 2025. Approximately 80 young leaders attended.
The Leaders Camp, held every two years, is a special program initiated by NYI Java-Bali to strengthen, train, and develop leadership skills in young people in local and district churches. The program is designed specifically for emerging leaders.
This camp featured sessions on organization, ministry management, and servant leadership. Fun games that taught leadership through steadfastness, mutual support, sacrifice, and togetherness were also incorporated.
Boyolali hosted the event for the second time, first in 2016 and then in July this year. Via* led the event as committee chair, collaborating with pastors and local church congregations to support the youth in developing leadership skills from an early age.
“I feel truly blessed to have participated in and been a part of the 2025 Leaders Camp,” Via said. “The activities not only increased my knowledge and leadership skills, but also deepened my relationship with God and fellow ministers.
“The atmosphere of togetherness, praise sessions, the Word, and the training provided were truly edifying and inspiring. I hope activities like this can continue to be held regularly so that more servants of God are equipped to serve with the right heart and leadership. Thank you to the entire committee for their excellent cooperation, the speakers, and all those involved.”
