The following is a weekly listing of Nazarene ministers and leaders who recently went home to be with the Lord. Notices were received from 20 December 2025 to 9 January 2026.
Pedro Aguilar, 78, of Chicago, Illinois, passed away 25 December 2025. He served as the pastor of Chicago Emmanuel Spanish Church of the Nazarene since 1994. He is survived by his wife, Berta Aguilar.
Joyce Boring, 88, of Johnstown, Pennsylvania, passed away 13 December 2025. She was a minister who served in Pennsylvania. She is survived by her husband, Thomas Boring.
Louise Clifford, 99, of Topeka, Kansas, passed away 1 January 2026. She was the wife of Richard Clifford, a retired minister who served in Massachusetts and Connecticut.
Dolores Crouse, 91, of Preston, Maryland, passed away 2 January 2026. She was the wife of W. Nevin Crouse, a retired minister who served Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Maryland.
Lorna Fike, 75, of Ruidoso, New Mexico, passed away 11 December 2025. She was a minister who served at Angus Church of the Nazarene in New Mexico.
Vivian Hunter, 77, of Detroit, Michigan, passed away 25 December 2025. She was the wife of Robert Hunter Jr., who has pastored Detroit Grace Church of the Nazarene since 1979.
Don Moore, 79, of Clatskanie, Oklahoma, passed away 28 December 2025. He was a retired minister who served in Oklahoma.
Samuel Pierson Jr., 44, of Hurricane, West Virginia, passed away 1 January 2026. He served as the pastor of South Charleston Grace Church of the Nazarene in West Virginia since 2018. He is survived by his wife, Erin Pierson.
Merle Mead, 90, of Tullahoma, Tennessee, passed away 4 January 2026. He was a retired minister who served in Tennessee. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Mead.
Manuela Rosa, 94, of Harlingen, Texas, passed away 17 December 2025. She was the widow of Rafael Sosa, a retired minister who served in Texas. Rafael passed away in 2024.
Mary Ellen Studebaker, 98, of Bellingham, Washington, passed away 26 December 2025. She was the widow of William Rogers, a retired minister who served in Washington. William passed away in 1997. Mary Ellen was preceded in death by her second husband, Karl Studebaker, who passed away in 2016.
Sheila Taylor, 89, of Fort Smith, Arkansas, passed away 20 December 2025. She was the widow of Larry Taylor, a retired minister who served in Arkansas and Oklahoma.
Thomas Weller, 87, of Springfield, Virginia, passed away 26 December 2025. He was a retired minister who served in Illinois, New York, and Indiana. He is survived by his wife, Evangeline Weller.
Rebecca Yates, 70, of Plainview, Texas, passed away 1 January 2026. She was the wife of C. Douglas Yates, a retired minister who served in Texas and Oklahoma.
