The following is a weekly listing of Nazarene ministers and leaders who recently went home to be with the Lord. Notices were received from 3-7 August 2026.

Michael Adams, 74, of Orlando, Florida, passed away 30 July 2026. He was a minister and evangelist who served in Kentucky, Ohio, Florida, Michigan, Indiana, and Texas. He was survived by his wife, Elizabeth Adams.
Alford Bracken, 86, of Waco, Texas, passed away 16 July 2026. He was a retired minister who served in Texas and Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bobbye Bracken, who passed away in 2008.
Rebecca Cahill, 77, of Edmond, Oklahoma, passed away 9 June 2026. She was the wife of John Cahill Sr., a retired minister who served in Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas.
Dale Crane, 66, of Puyallup, Washington, passed away 9 July 2026. He was the husband of Patti Crane, a retired minister who served in Washington.
Jose DeHaro, 90, of Dallas, Texas, passed away 8 July 2026. He was a retired minister who served in Texas. He is survived by his wife, Maria DeHaro.
Connie Ferguson, 77, of Exeter, Missouri, passed away 27 July 2026. She was the widow of Wayne Ferguson, a retired minister who served in Kansas and Missouri. Wayne passed away in 2019.
Gary Harper, 81, of Brookhaven, Mississippi, passed away 19 July 2026. He was a retired minister who served in Arkansas, Alabama, Texas, and Mississippi. He was survived by his wife, Karen Harper.
Colleen Hofferbert, 97, of Bradenton, Florida, passed away 14 July 2026. She was the widow of Doyle Hofferbert, a retired minister who served in Indiana. Doyle passed away in 2005.
Thelma Kingrey, 85, of Glasgow, Kentucky, passed away 27 June 2026. She was the wife of Paul Kingrey, a retired minister who served in Kentucky.
Mary Ellen Merki, 94, of Mount Vernon, Ohio, passed away 23 June 2026. She was the widow of Paul Merki, a retired minister who served in Pennsylvania, Alaska, Ohio, Maryland and Illinois. Paul passed away in 2012.
Ellinore Morrison, 89, of Centralia, Illinois, passed away 20 June 2026. She was the wife of Sumner Morrison, a retired minister who served in Illinois, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Maine.
Gerald Painter, 95, of O’ Fallon, Missouri, passed away 14 July 2026. He was a retired minister who served in Illinois, Ohio, West Virginia, and Indiana. He is survived by his wife, Florence Painter.
Yvonnie Price, 91, of Enid, Oklahoma, passed away 25 June 2026. She was the widow of John Price, a retired minister who served in Arkansas. John passed away in 2013.
Nicholas Saucedo, 81, of Canyon Lake, California, passed away 18 July 2026. He was a minister who served in California. He is survived by his wife, Esther Saucedo.
Julia Shirley, 86, of Altamonte Springs, Florida, passed away 13 July 2026. She was the wife of Windell Shirley, a retired minister who served in Alabama, Kentucky, New Mexico, Florida, North Carolina, and Texas.
Brent Smith, 55, of Bennington, Oklahoma, passed away 10 July 2026. He was a minister who served in Iowa and Oklahoma. He is survived by his wife, Michelle Smith.
C. Barth Smith, 85, of Olathe, Kansas, passed away 18 July 2026. He was a retired minister and educator who served in Texas, Colorado, and Kansas. He is survived by his wife, Katheryn Smith.
Keith Wright, 88, of Newberg, Oregon, passed away on 19 July 2026. He was a retired district superintendent who led the Kansas City District (1990-2005), Oregon Pacific District (2009-2010), and the Washington Pacific District (2010-2011). He served as a minister in Texas, California, Georgia, Florida, and Missouri. He is survived by his wife, Liz Wright.
