The following is a weekly listing of Nazarene ministers and leaders who recently went home to be with the Lord. Notices were received from 17-21 August 2026.
Bessie Gillard, 66, of Memphis, Tennessee, passed away 12 August 2026. She was the pastor of Refreshing Springs Church of the Nazarene in Memphis, Tennessee, serving there since 2009. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ricky Gillard, a minister who served at Refreshing Springs from 1998 until his passing in 2009.
Robert Scheidly, 90, of Cape May, New Jersey, passed away 12 August 2026. He was a retired minister who served in Ohio, Indiana, and Pennsylvania. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna, who passed away in April of this year.
