The Church of the Nazarene in Colombia celebrated 50 years of history, faith, and service in the country, as part of a national celebration held on 26 July 2025.
The service united the eight districts in a spirit of worship and gratitude to God. This commemoration marked half a century since the arrival of the first Nazarene missionaries to Colombia, who planted a vision centered on holiness, compassion, and social transformation.
Over these five decades, the Church of the Nazarene has left an indelible mark on thousands of lives, impacting communities through local churches, social projects, leadership development, educational institutions, and missions, bringing the message of Christ to every corner of the country.
The event brought together pastors, leaders, members, and representatives from all regions of Colombia, as well as international guests who joined in this historic celebration. The day was marked by symbolic acts, artistic presentations, recognition of the movement’s pioneers, and a profound time of worship. Thanks to the national broadcast, believers from different cities and communities were able to join together virtually to praise God and share testimonies.
While a milestone, this date also becomes a new starting point, reminding Colombians that the mission continues. The Church of the Nazarene in Colombia reaffirmed its commitment to evangelization, service, and the formation of new generations who will keep alive the flame of Christ’s message.
Celebrating 50 years is not only about looking back with gratitude but also about the church moving forward with faith and hope into the future.
