The Amelia Church of the Nazarene quizzing program is inspiring its participants to take ownership of their faith at a young age, and the church is reaping the benefits of an engaged, knowledgeable, and spiritually mature younger generation.

Jeffrey D. Hawkins has been selected to serve as military chaplain endorser on behalf of Church of the Nazarene, a key position of support to Nazarene clergy serving in the U.S. Armed Forces.

In this month’s edition of Nazarenes in the News, a Missouri church celebrates local moms, a Nazarene chaplain aids Serbian armed forces chaplains in spiritual training, and a Michigan church opens up grief support groups.

Christ Community Church of the Nazarene in Concord, California, caught fire twice in a four-day span. The second fire was ruled as arson by investigators.

Lloyd Brock has been appointed superintendent of the Northwestern Illinois District. Brock replaces Scott Sherwood, who was recently elected president of Nazarene Bible College.

The Board of Pensions recently enacted changes to basic level insurance coverages for eligible U.S. ministers and other church employees whose congregations contribute to the P&B Fund.

Work & Witness trips were one of the many things disrupted by the pandemic over the last year, but virtual trips are allowing more people to participate.

Months before the Board of General Superintendents launched the Journey of Grace global discipleship initiative, Sharon and Brent Norman began planting the Journey of Grace Church of the Nazarene in Saginaw, Michigan. In hindsight, the Normans are amazed that God brought together their church’s vision and the recently launched Journey of Grace framework.
