Christ Community Church of the Nazarene in Concord, California, caught fire twice in a four-day span. The second fire was ruled as arson by investigators.

Lloyd Brock has been appointed superintendent of the Northwestern Illinois District. Brock replaces Scott Sherwood, who was recently elected president of Nazarene Bible College.

Randy Barrington has been appointed superintendent of the Canada Quebec District. The appointment was made by General Superintendent David Graves in consultation with the Canada Quebec Advisory Committee, USA/Canada Regional Director Stan Reeder, and the Board of General Superintendents.

The Eastern Michigan District elected Michael D. Kitsko on 19 April 2021 as its new superintendent. Kitsko currently serves as the assistant district superintendent, a role he has held for the last eight years. He replaces Glen Gardner, who is retiring.
