George Miller, 72, of Carnegie, Oklahoma, passed away 28 May 2023. He was a retired missionary who served for 27 years in Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands, and the Philippines. Miller was the pastor of Carnegie Church of the Nazarene at the time of his death.

Pastor Chad Fryar of Crossroad Cowboy Church in Bismarck, Arkansas, was involved in a car on 25 May that tragically took the lives of his two daughters, Marlee Jo and Dana Kate. Chad and his son, Bo Henry, were hospitalized and later discharged.

John Mann Nielson passed away 28 April 2023 at the age of 79. He served as a pastor, missionary, educator, and administrator, including as president of Asia-Pacific Nazarene Theological Seminary and director of Ministerial Development for the Church of the Nazarene’s International Headquarters.

The Discipleship Place offers a variety of courses on topics ranging from discipleship and evangelism to mental health. On the Canada West District, these courses are used for discipleship, connecting people from three Canadian provinces.

The Central Gulf Coast District elected Ryan M. Brown as its new superintendent 11 May 2023. Brown currently serves as pastor of Sandusky Church of the Nazarene in Ohio.

Larry Morris was elected superintendent of the Oklahoma District on 1 May 2023. Morris currently serves as the vice president for external relations at Southern Nazarene University.

The mission of Hope for Health is to provide holistic health services in a Christ-centered environment to the underserved population of Marion, Ohio, and surrounding communities.

CrossRoads Cowboy Church in El Paso, Arkansas, has mixed Old Western culture and church in the hopes of reaching a target audience nicknamed “Cowboy Joe,” a man like Chad Fryar. Now 10 years later he now pastors a CRCC church plant.

Hundreds of people came to know Christ as their Lord and Savior during a Resurrection service at CrossRoads Cowboy Church in El Paso, Arkansas. More than 3,000 people attended the Easter service, and more than 8,000 people heard the gospel throughout the entire weekend.
