Brian Wiesinger was appointed superintendent of the Southwest Oklahoma District on 11 December 2023. He currently is the pastor of The Crossing Church of the Nazarene in Westminster, Colorado.

General Superintendent Emeritus W. Talmadge Johnson passed away on 6 December 2023 at age 86. Elected at the 25th General Assembly and Conventions, Johnson was the 33rd General Superintendent of the Church of the Nazarene.

Jim Bond was appointed superintendent of the Oklahoma District on 30 November 2023. Bond has been the superintendent of the Kansas District, serving in that role since 2014.

Kankakee First Church of the Nazarene in Illinois is reaching its community through the game of basketball, hosting a weekly men’s basketball league. The league has grown from a simple open gym concept — where anyone can show up and play basketball — to a full-fledged league with 12 teams, 120 players, qualified officials.

A church in Michigan is resourcing its community through educational and faith-based seminars on mental health-related topics. Over 100 people attended Flushing Community Church of the Nazarene’s Hope Over Anxiety seminar on 22 October.
