In an isolated corner of Michigan farm country, a small Church of the Nazarene has become the county’s sole provider of English Language Learning classes. Some of the first students are now on track to become church members this summer.

Reachway Church of the Nazarene is impacting its neighborhood of Peoria, Illinois, by providing a space the community can use for its benefit.
Gregory Hephner, 59, of Wichita, Kansas, passed away 21 February 2024. He was a member of the General Board of the Church of the Nazarene, elected in June 2023. He passed just six weeks after receiving a glioblastoma diagnosis.
Ronald “Phillip” Sessions, 86, of Cullman, Alabama, passed away 10 February 2024. He was a retired district superintendent who led the Alabama South (now Central Gulf Coast) District from 1988 to 1997.
Hugh Lansden Smith of Roswell, Georgia, passed away on 1 January 2024. Hugh served as a pastor and district superintendent in addition to dedicating his life to spreading compassion, faith, and kindness to those around him.
Waverly Church of the Nazarene celebrated the opening of its new building on Sunday, 4 February, at a new location for the first time in the church’s 80-year history.
Three women seeking to dive deeper into their faith and Nazarene theology have found life through the Church of the Nazarene’s Discipleship Place lay ministry courses.
Kendall Franklin was appointed superintendent of the Kansas District . He currently serves as pastor of Woodland Lakes Community Church of the Nazarene in Wichita, Kansas.
