Juanita Pate, 93, of Charleston, Missouri, passed away 4 April 2022. She was a missionary to South Africa for 38 years.

Kenneth Crow, 80, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away 24 March 2022. He served as a missionary, educator, and senior program manager of Research at the Global Ministry Center.

C. Lee Eby, 85, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away 10 March 2022. He was a retired missionary and minister, pioneering the Church of the Nazarene’s work in Papua New Guinea.

The Church of the Nazarene’s Global Missions office recommended 26 missionaries for commissioning during the 98th General Board Session, held virtually 25-28 February.

Joseph Penn, 104, of Hesperia, California, passed away 5 January 2022. He was a retired minister and missionary who served in Eswatini, Mozambique, and South Africa for 40 years.

The Pan de Vida Iglesia del Nazareno in Panama City, Panama, is using soccer and dance to provide wholesome recreation alternatives for the youth in their community. The church leaders hope that their work spreads from the youth into the broader community.
