In an isolated corner of Michigan farm country, a small Church of the Nazarene has become the county’s sole provider of English Language Learning classes. Some of the first students are now on track to become church members this summer.

A church in Michigan is resourcing its community through educational and faith-based seminars on mental health-related topics. Over 100 people attended Flushing Community Church of the Nazarene’s Hope Over Anxiety seminar on 22 October.

Wayne H. Brown, 76, of Sebring, Florida, passed away 1 December 2022. He was a retired district superintendent, leading the Northern Michigan District from 2002 to 2015.

The Eastern Michigan District elected Michael D. Kitsko on 19 April 2021 as its new superintendent. Kitsko currently serves as the assistant district superintendent, a role he has held for the last eight years. He replaces Glen Gardner, who is retiring.
