In just under one year, Nazarenes from around the world will gather in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA, for the 30th General Assembly and Conventions.

In April 2022, Nazarene Archives staff noticed a curious listing in its inventory records. The listing led to the finding of a VHS tape containing footage of the Seventh General Assembly of the Church of the Nazarene.

Three new District Superintendents were elected on the USA/Canada Region this past week. Paul MacPherson was elected to the Maine District, Arnie WIlson to the Alabama North District, and Brian Wangler to the Indianapolis District.

Holiness Today magazine has launched a new website with three additional languages: Spanish, French, and Portuguese. The launch was timed to coincide with a special issue on Christian identity, featuring articles from each of the six members of the Board of General Superintendents.

Samuel Barber was elected superintendent of the South Central Ohio District on 22 April 2022. Barber currently serves as lead pastor at Central Church of the Nazarene in Lenexa, Kansas.

The 2017-2021 Manual of the Church of the Nazarene is now available in Global English. The goal of writing this Manual in Global English is to incorporate language that is clearer and engaging to a global audience, especially to non-native speakers of English.

Kenneth Crow, 80, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away 24 March 2022. He served as a missionary, educator, and senior program manager of Research at the Global Ministry Center.

During the 98th Session of the General Board, members approved a new set of bylaws for Sunday School and Discipleship Ministries International.
