The Africa South Field is proud to announce the election of Thabo Philemon Mabotja as the newly elected district superintendent of the South Africa KwaZulu Natal (KZN) District. Mabotja is an ordained elder in the Church of the Nazarene and serves as the senior pastor of the Okkerneutboom Church of the Nazarene in the RSA Eastern District.
For the last 100 years, the Church of the Nazarene in Mozambique has been alive, on the move, and experiencing many victories. The church is now set to centrally and communally celebrate its centennial 28-29 October 2022.

New Scent Centre in Insinga, Kenya, is home to more than 70 children and adolescents who have been victimized by sexual and gender-based violence. New Scent has become a focal point of the village with many children relying on it for their own survival.

Graduation ceremonies took place around the Africa Region. In a joyful show of pomp and circumstance, these educational institutions were able to have their first in-person graduation ceremonies in two years.

The Church of the Nazarene in Guinea-Bissau is bringing light to a local village, in more ways than one. In May, the church’s Project of Light brought solar panels, electricity, and light to the Indena Grande village, located on the island of Canhabaque in Guinea-Bissau.
