The following is a first-person report from a missionary assigned to the Africa Region about an impactful ministry for martyrs’ widows. The ministry is restoring dignity to families left behind in these tragic circumstances.
Africa is called the “young continent” for a reason. According to a UNICEF report, by 2050, forty percent of the world’s children will be African. Understanding the importance of introducing Christ to the little ones, the Africa Region Nazarene Discipleship International – Children’s Ministries held a training from March 19-23 on the Africa West Francophone Field in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire.

The Church of the Nazarene in Kenya is showing love to its neighbors in a unique way by helping combat the dangers of snake bites through a snakebite prevention program.
Agriculture trainings in the south of Madagascar have helped local residents raise and sell crops to feed and support their families. The trainings have also led to many conversations and several new preaching points.
In 2021, Equatorial Guinea and Seminario Teológico Nazareno Cono Sur announced a historic borderless education agreement. In March, the first fruits of the seeds planted by this partnership were harvested, with nine clergy graduating, five of whom were ordained.
