This missionary will be a part of the South America Regional Mobilization team, working specifically with the short term event of ExploSAM. Maintaining good communication and planning with both the visiting team as well as local and district leadership, assuring that short term work is beneficial to the long term mission strategy of the Church of the Nazarene in Brazil.

ExploSAM is an event that takes place 2-3 times a year in different countries in South America. ExploSAM is a strategy to give missionary candidates more development and exposure to the mission field, as well as utilize cross cultural workers in attaining ministry goals in each country.

Responsibilities:

Work directly with local churches and the assigned team
Work in a variety of teams, both regional and global
Work in coordination with South America Missionary Mobilization
Create positive relationships in the community
Accompany leaders in their wholistic development, according to their cultural context
Maintain a spirit of discipline and capability of learning
Ability to travel on public transportation
