Member Care Coordinator

Position Overview:
The Member Care Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the overall well-being of missionaries by providing comprehensive support, fostering community, and facilitating effective deployment processes. This role focuses on promoting physical, mental, and spiritual health while encouraging connection and growth within the missionary community.

Key Responsibilities:

Missionary Deployment:

• Collaborate with the Regional Personnel Coordinator to organize and coordinate the deployment of new missionaries.
• Provide guidance and support to ensure a smooth transition into their respective ministries.

Community Building and Communication:

• Organize and facilitate monthly missionary meetings to promote fellowship, support, and ongoing communication within the missionary community.
• Maintain open and consistent communication channels to keep missionaries connected and encouraged.
• Send personalized birthday and anniversary cards to foster a sense of belonging and personal connection within the team.

Counseling and Support Services:

• Serve as a liaison to connect missionaries with professional counseling services.
• Assist with arranging internet service options to facilitate access to remote counseling and support resources.

Training and Development:

• Develop and implement training programs focused on maintaining the physical, mental, and spiritual health of missionaries.
• Organize webinars, workshops, and educational events on topics such as cultural transitions, family support, spiritual development, and self-care.

Pastoral Care:

• Provide ongoing pastoral care through one-on-one meetings, webinars, group discussions, and retreats.
• Be a consistent source of encouragement and guidance, helping missionaries navigate the challenges of cross-cultural ministry.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience working in missions or a cross-cultural setting.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to provide empathetic support and maintain confidentiality.
• Proficiency in facilitating meetings and developing training programs.
• Familiarity with virtual communication tools and platforms.
