STRATEGY
Seeking to raise up compassionate Nazarenes and Nazarene churches who join in God’s Kingdom mission to the ends of the earth, the East Asia field seeks to make and send disciple-making disciples, using every opportunity as a platform for Kingdom impact in local communities.
The Field NCM coordinator will come alongside churches to equip Nazarenes to engage compassionately within their communities, to make disciples and establish new churches. This role combines mentoring/modeling, teaching, and equipping to facilitate compassionate engagement across our field.
We have a number of compassionate ministries that are all doing their own ministry and not connected to an overall strategy; we also have a number of ministries that are in effective in planning and reporting. This position will help us to better engage our communities, but also better work together as a team.
The primary purpose of this assignment is the formation of missionally engaged and compassionate Nazarene churches on the East Asia Field, through equipping Nazarene disciple-makers, coordinating indigenously-led compassionate ministries, and mobilizing the Church for missional engagement through compassionate ministries.

Requirements:

l  A Wesleyan-Holiness foundation for compassion that is demonstrated in one’s daily life and relationships.

l  Intercultural competency that allows for effective communication and relationships across cultures and with multi-cultural teams.

l  Professional and academic experience in compassionate ministries and project management.

l  Strong communication skills that can be effective both in-person and remotely for project coordination, strategic planning, and compassion education and awareness.

l  Personal leadership skills evidenced in intentional leadership planning, simultaneously handling multiple projects, and completion of tasks and responsibilities.

l  Travel to various locations on the field and for regional meetings.

l  Residency on the field is preferable;
