This mission intern will join with Nazarene Global Missions, the USA/Canada Region, the Missions Mobilization team, the Alaska District, Frontline Mission Compassionate Ministry Center
and Wasilla Lake Church of the Nazarene in being the hands and feet of Jesus.
Frontline Mission serves a diverse group of people including Alaskan natives, Pacific Islanders, Samoans, Filipinos, Russians, and Ukrainians. The mission focuses on helping people dealing with isolation and poverty to show them Jesus’ love. They offer hot meals, food and clothing distribution, job search help, shower/laundry services and special events throughout the year to support those in need in the Mat-Su Valley.
The Cause missions interns are involved in hands-on outreach in a new culture, learning about nonprofit systems while receiving mentoring from Frontline’s leaders. Frontline Mission also receives missions teams that The Cause missions interns would support while on site. The Wasilla Lake Church and the mission work together to serve the community to serve 150 families each week.

Responsibilities:
- Engage in community outreach, evangelism, and service projects.
- Support the ongoing work of the local church, district,and compassionate ministry center.
- Participate in exploring how God's work and human dignity are revealed through cross-cultural service.
- A growing and active relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Passion for learning, missions, cross-cultural community engagement and discipleship.
- Ability to adapt to diverse cultural and ministry contexts.
- Commitment to the assignment, including application process and pre-deployment training.
