NYMA was created specifically to address the growing need for intentional missionary formation among adolescents and teens, recognizing that formation must precede deployment. Interns would help to prepare for this youth missions training event and assist with leading the event and supporting the youth as they train: mentor NYMA students, assist with workshops, lead small group discussions, support evangelism practicals, support food pantry outreach, help facilitate creation care and farm lab activities, assist with mission trip preparation and logistics.
God is also working through our Compassionate Ministry Center, Out of Egypt Food Pantry, which serves hundreds of individuals and families each month, and through Thrift & Gift, our marketplace ministry that creates daily opportunities for community engagement, relationship building, and Gospel witness. Creation Care & Farm Lab supports sustainable agriculture, and the local church ministry is active every week.
The area is multicultural with many Hispanic families, Native Americans, military personnel and families, agricultural workers, Individuals from various faith traditions, and individuals with no church background.
