The Professor of New Testament serves as a graduate and doctoral faculty member at Asia-Pacific Nazarene Theological Seminary (APNTS), delivering high-quality instruction in New Testament, Greek, and hermeneutics. Grounded in the Wesleyan-Holiness tradition, this role mentors multicultural students and leads research initiatives to prepare Christlike leaders for ministry across Asia, the Pacific, and the world.

Responsibilities

Teaching & Mentoring: Deliver graduate and doctoral courses in New Testament studies while advising students and supervising master’s theses and doctoral dissertations across multicultural settings. Research & Institutional Service: Conduct contextual scholarly research relevant to Asia-Pacific contexts and support seminary operations through committee work, curriculum design, and chapel leadership.

Requirements

Education & Faith: Earned PhD in New Testament/Biblical Studies with a strong commitment to Wesleyan-Holiness theology and APNTS’s mission.                                                                   
Academic & Cultural Competence: Proven graduate-level teaching, thesis supervision, research publication, and effective communication in multicultural/ESL environments.
