Serve as a missionary dentist at Kudjip Nazarene Hospital, providing essential oral healthcare to a high-need population in the beautiful Highlands of Papua New Guinea. You will be part of a dedicated, multi-disciplinary team, using your professional skills to offer both physical relief and a compassionate witness to the love of Christ.

Responsibilities

• Provide a wide range of clinical dental services, including extractions, restorative work, and preventative care for patients of all ages.

• Collaborate with the hospital’s medical and surgical teams to manage complex cases involving oral health and systemic infection.

• Spiritually and professionally lead and mentor local staff and dental assistants, helping to build sustainable healthcare capacity within the region.

• Engage in the spiritual life of the hospital through participation in morning chapel and bedside ministry with patients.

• Assist in the management and maintenance of dental equipment and supplies to ensure a high standard of clinical safety and efficiency.

Requirements

• Degree in Dentistry (DDS, DMD, or equivalent) from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid license to practice dentistry in your home country.

• A heart for missions and a desire to work in a cross-cultural, rural hospital setting.

• Strong clinical diagnostic skills and the ability to work effectively with limited resources.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to working as part of a collaborative, Christ-centered medical team.
