Join Nazarene Rural Health Services as a missionary in the role of Public Health Advocate to analyze population data and develop impactful health policies. You will work collaboratively with PNG Nazarene leaders to guide health initiatives that reduce inequalities and improve the overall well-being of communities across Papua New Guinea.

Responsibilities

• Conduct population health assessments and surveys to identify and assess community needs.
• Lead the development and implementation of evidence-based public health policies and strategies.
• Plan, manage, and evaluate health programs to ensure they are effective and cost-efficient.
• Provide expert advisory services to healthcare providers, government agencies, and other organizations.
• Lead health protection initiatives, such as disease outbreak investigation, and advocate for healthy community programs.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (Master's level or above) in Public Health, Epidemiology, or a related health discipline.
• Proficiency in data analysis, statistical software, and tools for program evaluation.
• Strong project management skills to oversee complex initiatives and deliver results.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for advising stakeholders and writing reports.
• Proven ability to lead teams and work effectively across various organizational boundaries
