Since its beginning, education has been a core commitment of the Church of the Nazarene. The International Board of Education (IBOE) oversees a network of 50 colleges, universities, and seminaries across 1,000 learning centers in over 110 world areas. Each year, more than 43,000 students are educated to serve in various careers—pastors, teachers, scientists, artists, medical professionals, and more. Most importantly, they are trained as followers of Jesus and leaders with a Christian worldview, helping to fulfill the Church’s mission to make Christlike disciples in the nations.
