This mission experience offers an opportunity to serve immigrant families seeking legal status or citizenship through compassionate, Christ-centered ministry. While trained staff handle confidential legal processes, volunteers play a vital role in creating a welcoming and hope-filled environment. By engaging children with games, crafts, and activities, teams help ease stress for parents and provide a safe, joyful space that reflects God’s love.

A highlight of this project is the annual Día del Niño celebration, a meaningful cultural event that honors and uplifts children. Teams may help organize and lead this large community gathering—assisting with setup, decorations, food, and activities—while also participating in an immigration legal clinic during the same timeframe. This combination offers both personal, one-on-one ministry and broader community engagement.

This experience invites participants to move beyond observation into meaningful service—building relationships, offering hospitality, and growing in understanding of God’s heart for justice and compassion. Open to adults and mature students (16+), this project is ideal for those eager to serve, connect, and make a tangible difference in the lives of vulnerable families.
