Children from the North, Biobío, and Los Lagos districts of the Church of the Nazarene in Chile participated in the National Children’s Bible Quizzing Tournament on Saturday, 3 October 2026. The event brought participants together virtually for a day of learning, joy, and fellowship, with the purpose of promoting the study of God’s Word among the younger generations.

Each district was represented by a team of five children, ages 7-12, who studied the book of Genesis. During the tournament, the teams responded remotely using the Kahoot app. This format allowed children from different regions of the country to connect, offering space to share their knowledge and learn the scriptures together.

The participants’ preparation was apparent, resulting in a healthy and fun competition. The Northern District took first place and the national title, earning 169 points, followed by the Los Lagos District with 168 and the Biobío District with 166.

The tournament was broadcast live, and family, friends, and members of local churches connected via social media to send greetings and encouraging messages. Their participation and support brought together faith communities to celebrate the teachers’ commitment and the children’s effort to learn God’s Word, awakening interest in the Bible and discipling them in their spiritual formation. It also serves as a reminder that teaching God’s Word is a shared responsibility between the church and the home.

The Church of the Nazarene in Chile is committed to the spiritual formation of children. Each initiative represents an opportunity to plant Scripture in children’s hearts, hoping to inspire them to live their faith every day.
