The Church of the Nazarene’s Global Missions office recommended 31 missionaries for commissioning during the 102nd General Board session, held in Overland Park, Kansas, 27-30 September 2026.
The service, held 29 September, was the first in-person missionary commissioning since the 95th General Board Session in 2019.
Each of these missionaries has been serving in long-term strategic assignments in diverse settings around the world. The commissioning of missionaries is a recognition of the life and call of the missionary, an indication of the missionary’s willingness to serve the church and an affirmation of his or her service into the future.
Herman and Diana Alcántara have served as missionaries since 2022. They have 4 children. Herman serves as the Bolivia holistic ministry coordinator. Diana serves as the Bolivia child sponsorship coordinator. Their home church is in the La Libertad Chavín District in Peru. They are being commissioned as missionaries on global assignment to serve in the South America Region.
Carlos and Keila Betanzos have served as missionaries since 2023. They have 1 child. Carlos serves as the regional finance coordinator in Mesoamerica. Keila serves as the regional finance assistant. Their home church is in the Mexico South District. They are being commissioned as missionaries on global assignment to serve in the Mesoamerica Region.
Sunil and Sarah Dandge have served as missionaries since 2008. They have 2 children. Sunil serves as the India field strategy coordinator (FSC). Sarah supports the FSC ministry. Their home church is in the India Karnataka South District. They are being commissioned as missionaries on global assignment to serve in the Eurasia Region.
Timothy and Grace Dlamini have served as missionaries since 2023. They have 2 children. Timothy serves as the Malawi country mission coordinator. Grace is the Pastors Kids (PKs) sponsorship coordinator. Their home church is in the Eswatini Central District. They are being commissioned as missionaries on global assignment to serve in the Africa Region.
Marcos and Jasmin Eugenio have served as missionaries since 2021. They have 2 children. Mark serves as the Southeast Asia field education coordinator and the chancellor of Chapman International College. Jazz serves as the Southeast Asia field NCM coordinator and the church development coordinator. Their home church is in the Philippines Southern Tagalog District. They are being commissioned as missionaries on global assignment to serve in the Asia-Pacific Region.
Musa and Prudence Kunene have served as missionaries since 2019. They have 3 children. Musa serves as a senior lecturer at Africa Nazarene University. Prudence serves as an instructional designer at Africa Nazarene University. Their home church is in the Eswatini Central District. They are being commissioned as missionaries on global assignment to serve in the Africa Region.
Danielle Miller has served as a missionary since 2022. She serves as the Caribbean field secretary and the field NYI coordinator. Her home church is in the Barbados District. She is being commissioned as a missionary on global assignment to serve in the Mesoamerica Region.
Ezequiel and Susana Ramirez have served as missionaries since 2021. They have 2 children. Ezequiel serves as the Guinea-Bissau mission coordinator. Susy serves in theological education, discipleship, and NCM. Their home church is in the Argentina Central District. They are being commissioned as missionaries on global assignment to serve in the Africa Region.
Jadilson and Cilene Rodrigues have served as missionaries since 2022. They have 4 children. Jadilson serves as a church planter, district superintendent and pastor. Cilene serves as the national coordinator for child sponsorship in Colombia and in theological education. Their home church is in the Brazil Nordeste Central District. They are being commissioned as missionaries on global assignment to serve in the South America Region.
Samuel and Kristi Senica have served as missionaries since 2021. They have 5 children. Sam serves as the regional personnel coordinator, and Kristi serves as mobilization coordinator for the USA/Canada Region. Their home church is in the USA Northwest Illinois District. They are being commissioned as missionaries on global assignment to serve in the USA/Canada Region.
Joshua and Kendall Stewardson have served as missionaries since 2022. They have 4 children. Joshua serves as the missions development coordinator and the assistant to the Papua New Guinea field strategy coordinator. Kendall serves as a doctor at the Nazarene Hospital and homeschools their children. Their home church is in the USA North Carolina District. They are being commissioned as missionaries on global assignment to serve in the Asia-Pacific Region.
Stanley and Grace Ushe have served as missionaries since 2023. They have 2 children. Stanley serves as the East Africa field strategy coordinator (FSC). Grace serves as the East Africa field NMI coordinator. Their home church is in the Zimbabwe East District. They are being commissioned as missionaries on global assignment to serve in the Africa Region.
Seven total missionaries were commissioned to serve in creative access or secure areas on the Asia-Pacific Region. For security reasons, they are not named.
